Students Prove Their Skills with Real Data
Improvement in many areas is often subjective. It is quite common for a student to ask him or herself, “Am I getting better?” and feel frustrated with a perceived lack of progress. It can be very difficult to identify areas to target for improvement (what should I be practicing?), which can slow down progress and derail motivation. Well, United States Taekwondo students don’t have to guess about their improvements anymore.
United States Taekwondo has invested in 2020 Armor vests, an amazing technology that allows us to track real time data for reaction time, power, and stamina. The best part is, it’s super fun, too! Students take a baseline measurement in these three key areas, and they can then track their improvement over time. This is incredibly valuable when it comes to goal setting. A goal that can’t be measured is not a good goal.
2020 Armor has some other super cool functions, as well, which we’ll introduce in a future post. If you’d like to join our martial arts family and try our 2020 Armor out for yourself, give us a call or fill out the form at www.UnitedStatesTKD.com.
